Mar 8/10 - A few riders have already taken advantage of the nice weather, but city police are out with a word of caution before a flood of motorcycles hit the streets. Officers are reminding Hatters to take extra time and be on the lookout for the smaller headlights and turn signals. Sergeant Gerald Saddlemyer says in the past couple of years, there have been two deaths around the city involving motorcycles. "Some times speed's a factor and sometimes its other drivers awareness that's involved," said Saddlemyer. Police also say it seems more motorcycle are gracing city streets than in years past.
