Bandits Down 2-0 In AJHL Playoff Series


Mar 9/10 - Erik Slemp scored in double-overtime to lift the Camrose Kodiaks past the Brooks Bandits 3-2 Monday night.  Cullen Bradshaw and Riley Simpson scored for the Bandits, who now trail the best-of-seven series 2-0.  Game three goes Wednesday in Brooks.

Tigers Netminder Picks Up Weekly Bragging Rights


Mar 8/10 - Three wins in three nights, including his 30th of the year, has inked netminder Tyler Bunz with the Tigers' player of the week honors.  He stopped 82 of 87 shots sent his way in those three games.  Runner-up was forward Linden Vey.

Bunz Earns 30th Victory In Win Over Edmonton


Mar 8/10 - Tyler Bunz notched his 30th win of the season as the Medicine Hat Tigers downed the Edmonton Oil Kings 5-2 Sunday night.  The win was the Tigers' fourth-straight, keeping them perfect in March.  Bretton Cameron, Joey Frazer, Mark Isherwood, Matthew Konan and Emerson Etem scored for the Tigers, who finish out their regular season with a home-and-home against Lethbridge on the weekend.

Bandits Drop Series Opener Against Kodiaks


Mar 8/10 - The Brooks Bandits were beaten 5-3 by Camrose Sunday night.  The Kodiaks now have a 1-0 series lead in their best-of-seven.  Brad Deagle, Bryce Wilson and Riley Simpson scored for the Bandits, who are back in Camrose for game two Monday night.

Cubs' Season Ends In Game Seven


Mar 8/10 - An abrupt end to the season for Medicine Hat's Junior 'B' Cubs.  After claiming a 3-1 series lead, they lost three in a row including a 4-1 game seven decision in Okotoks Sunday night.  The Bisons win the series 4-3 while the Cubs have been eliminated.
