No One Hurt As Fire Destroys Mobile Home

Mar 8/10 - No one was home when fire gutted a mobile home Monday afternoon. On-lookers and neighbours say a sudden thick black plume of smoke filled the air above a home on Southview Drive at the corner of Carry Drive in the Crestwood Mobile Home Park. Crews were called in at about 2pm. Platoon Chief Jim Clegg says damage was significant to the entire structure. With the drying conditions, Clegg says the fire may have spread had the wind been blowing in the right direction.
