RCMP And Peace Officers To Work Together In Brooks

Mar 10/10 - A new partnership has been created in Brooks. The city has announced RCMP will now supervise community peace officers. It has been an issue for the three sides for a few years about integrating all enforcement in the community. To this point, the Municipal Enforcement department fell under the city's umbrella. Similar arrangements are in place in Red Deer and Okotoks among others.
