Mar 11/10 - An Airdrie man charged with stealing passport applications from Medicine Hat, Lethbridge and Cranbrook will be sentenced in June. Derek Roche, 30, pleaded guilty in November to two counts of theft, and was supposed to be sentenced in February, but the case has since seen a couple of delays. Police allege Roche worked at a business in the Calgary airport, with no connection to Canada Post, but managed to access about 200 passport applications. He will be sentenced June 18th in a Calgary courtroom.
