MHPS Not Worried About Meth Hitting The City

Mar 18/10 - After two large methamphetamine busts in Edmonton already this year, some authorities are worried the drug may be making a comeback on Alberta streets. However, that concern is not being echoed by the Medicine Hat Police Service. Staff Sergeant Brian Christmann say the Gas City doesn\'t have a huge history involving meth and the drug users here prefer cocaine, crack-cocaine, marijuana and pills. Nearly 16 kilograms of meth was seized after the two investigations in Edmonton. Christmann says there have only been small amounts of the drug seized during arrests in our city, but it\'s not something they\'re dropping their guard against.
